Our Story

Hi, My name is Karol and I am the designer and hand-crafter of all jewelry makings from Tagua Love. I was born in Ecuador but now call Vancouver, Canada home. I am also a wife and a proud Mama who loves to work out and take my kids for walks to the park. I take great pride in the work that I do and feel extremely fortunate that I can do what I truly love and at the same time be there for my little ones. I have always had a great passion for the arts and wanted to use my talents to bring some of my culture to my adopted homeland. As organic jewelry was not widely found in Vancouver, tagua jewelry seemed like a great way to bring some of Ecuador to Canada. I work with local Artisans in Ecuador to create the beads which involves the cutting, polishing and dying of the tagua nuts. The tagua used to create all Tagua Love jewelry is ethically sourced from Ecuador and all designs are hand-made in Canada. Working with the local Artisans in Ecuador has been an amazing experience and the tagua industry provides much-needed economic stability to the region. I believe believe in using business as a force for good to balance profit with purpose. Creating jewelry from nature and sustainable to help solve the social and environmental challenges our world faces today. Thanks for your support. Karol Hi,
